Our private Chapel / Purgala offers the perfect scene for your wedding party pictures or the right place for your ceremony. Situated right next to the beautiful costal marsh, come find serenity here at our chapel.

This venue is SO beautiful!!! We are so grateful that this is where we got to celebrate our special day!!! Every corner of the property felt magical and created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception! Loved getting ready in the bridal suite and my husband and groomsmen loved the guys area. It was so nice that we all got ready on the same property. Jean was so kind and wonderful to meet and connect with throughout the process. She made everything feel easy and welcoming, and we felt so supported from the very beginning.We could not recommend this venue enough!! It will always hold such a special place in our hearts!!

On May 3, 2025, my daughter Julia and my now son-in-law Dylan married at Sycamore Bend. The estate itself is so beautiful and dreamlike with the historic landmark home, mature trees, manicured plantings throughout, the horse paddock, wonderful barn, endless string lighting, and other architectural structures and landscaped areas all created an atmosphere of serenity and well being! The day of the wedding and reception was simply magical thanks to all of the staff at Sycamore Bend Estate and their dedication to detail. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple planning their own perfect wedding celebration!

From the moment I pulled onto the property, I knew it was something special. The estate itself is breathtaking. The house has so much charm and elegance, and the grounds are nothing short of magical. Everywhere you look, there is a perfect backdrop for photos, and as a photographer I found myself constantly inspired by the setting. Out of the 100's of venues I’ve had the privilege of working at, Sycamore Bend Estate in Wilmington NC is absolutely one of the best. Sycamore Bend provides a suggested vendor list. Mister Bartender is the exclusive bartending service, and ENC Restroom Rental provides restrooms and generators.
A luxury restroom trailer is required for all events and weddings at Sycamore Bend Estate. ENC Restroom Rental is the preferred provider.
For larger weddings at Sycamore Bend Estate, a generator is recommended, especially if you plan to run multiple high-power sources simultaneously. The property has seven separate 20-amp circuits available for use.
The noise ordinance at Sycamore Bend Estate begins at 11:00 PM.
Pets are welcome to be present for the ceremony and photos at Sycamore Bend Estate. To ensure the standard of cleanliness is kept the same for every guest, pets are not permitted to sleep inside the homes.
